Am I missing something? I thought prizes would be available for "purchase" starting on the 8th. When I click on "Trade-ins" I get a statement that says "Check out all of the great prizes!" and that's it. I'd love to if I could just see them!
Oh, and about bidding. Is it like ebay, where you enter the max you want to bid, but you only have to spend enough to win?

No, your bid is the bid the next bidder has to beat. If you win an auction, the full amount of your bid will be deducted from your points.
I think also that what happened on the 8th, is that auctions started to end on that date-therefore "prizes are available"

On the auction page, if you scroll down on the "See More Auctions" prize list you will see "Recently Ended Auctions". The winner of the latest auctions are listed along with the number of points.
I just want to point out something important: The person who is now running Clear Channel online promotions is Mary Deary. Ms. Deary is known for two things: 1) She manages to provide a whole lot of prizes for the programs she runs. 2) She is VERY hard-nosed about following rules. VERY hard-nosed.
The rules explicitly say:

This includes, but is not limited to, the posting and/or retrieval of codes or ANY point-earning information on ANY online public forum.
You would therefore do well to avoid exposing WHO you are when posting here. Jack FM is the only promo program that explicitly doesn't care about code sharing.
Saying what prize you won, or which auctions you are currently bidding on, might not be a very good move.

If you were referring to my request for which auctions were won by members here, this is why I asked them to be PMd to me. My summary will include approximately how many were won, not what they were and not on which days they were won. (BTW--I don't really care WHAT you won, just whether or not you won.)

I found her very easy to deal with when she was at KyXy.
She returned emails promptly.
I pointed out typos on her web page and she fixed them right away.
I once won entry into one of the slot tournaments, but was out of town and couldn't go...she let me transfer them to a friend.

Better to be careful and get your prizes than to slip and get banned. I knew a few people who lost their account points on KYXY for doing things that did not justify having accounts erased. Is suspect it will start happening here and maybe on the other ClearChannel programs.
If you read their rules, I'm sure you'll find some rules that are unfair but they say "we reserve the right to erase your accounts whenever we feel like it." I'm sure that there could be some legal action against this, but is it worth it?
That's one of the reasons I'm looking into boycotting.
they have also UPDATED their rules on 1/7/07-not sure what the update was but it is high-lighted in yellow when you click on the rules page
