I hate to do this but I finally got Padres opening day tickets and I would rather go to that then the star94.1 bash. If anyone wants to go to the thank you party I will sell you the tickets to you, just e-mail me on the site.

I cannot believe I wasted points, time, and gas for the Star Party. There were 2,500 people there lined up to get in, to get food, and to get out of the ballroom after the drawings. They only let people out one door, so it felt like cattle being herded through a chute. After I finally got to the food tables, there was certainly nothing worth the wait: vegetables, cheese, and crackers, plus lots of empty plates. The band was fair to awful, and Bono (yes, he was there) acted and sounded like he was drunk or high. There was nothing to do at the party but wait around for each drawing. I kept on losing my friends in the crowd, so I left.
Now magine wasting $250 or more for those tickets on Ebay or through Craigslist. I went to one of these parties in the past and it was basically the same thing. I can't imagine going without knowing anyone on top of all that. No way am I ever going to one of those parties again. What you need to do is get tickets to the PRE-party VIP party where all of the DJ's show up, the food is MUCH better, the drinks are usually free and the crowd is A LOT smaller!Originally Posted by gwgrad

I usually don't look much further out than the first few pages as to what the upcoming auction prizes are, but this morning I had some extra time to kill. Did anyone else notice that there is a $100 cash prize every day in May? They have this on their other rewards programs as well. Like $10,000 in cash they are giving away in the month of May! Also, when did most of the gift cards go up to $50 instead of $25? I have not been paying that close attention but now I am.

This is NOT Bono!!! I am the biggest U2 fan you will ever meet, I even have a U2 tattoo on my left arm!!! I have real photos of Bono that I took durning there last tour in Las Vegas and if you look at there noses they are competely different!!!! there hair is also a little differant plus last year Jeff and Jer had a Cher and Sonny Bono lookalikes at there party NEED I SAY MORE!!!

Bono became a knight of the British empire on Thursday, March 29, 2007. This picture was taken the same day - so unless J&J's Bono is wearing one of Jeff's wigs...

I think this is a guy named Pavel. He used to be in a U2 tribute band here in San Diego, then he moved to Chicago just a few months ago, but he was probably back visiting....Yeah, J&J's Bono kinda looks like an imposter... Compare the nose and hairline...

Uh oh, the start of the "5 points" bonus sites is now occurring.
Everyone should boycot clicking on the 5 point links. First, its too much work for 5 points. If Star sees that people will click on them for 5 points, its only a matter of time before they all are worth 5 points. By boycotting them, Star will see that the views for these 5 pointers will be down, thus denying (hopefully) ad revenue to Star because of less views. Then they'll put them back to 25 points.
