I dont understand people sometimes.
These seaworld tickets are sitting in the tradein page for days (for 45000 points). Heres a guy, who is bidding it for 48769 in the auction page..
Well, sometimes these guys do the dumbest thing, just to win an auction. Looks like he "really" wants it and to win it also!
I think they pop up on the trade in page later than the auction page-hbud may have already committed to the auction (I'm trying to rationalize here)
Also-----for a long time--there was nothing really GOOD in the trade in section (I for one have not even been LOOKING there)

If you look at the closed auctions, the bidding has gone as high as 70,000 for those tickets at the same time they were up on trade-in for 45,000. It pays to pay attention but we're all guilty of not checking every opportunity all the time.
I didn't have 45000 points when they were available as trade-ins, or I would have gotten them then. I bid every last point before I went to class this morning, hoping that would be enough to win. (Alas, it was not!)

Just a suggestion to hb, you might want to change your Got Apex name because the radio stations can identify you from your postings here and match them to your name on the radio station accounts. That is proof that you're a member of a code sharing website and all of your accounts may be deleted.

I figure if they ever find this forum, they can easily find me posting a month before, two months before, whatever. I imagine I'd get in just as much trouble, even if they thought I no longer did it. But thanx for the advice.
I checked the trade-ins page last week, and quite honestly, when I didn't get enough points for DAYS after I saw them posted, I just assumed they were gone. I'm happy to know they're not! (One less today, thanks.)

There's a limit of one when you use the trade-in. If someone wants more they have to go to the auction sometimes to get them. And, yes, sometimes you have to go higher than the trade-in price. That's one of the reasons it's done. I'm sure there are others.
I'm sure your message was meant to help and not as a put down as it appears. After all that's what we are all here for is to help one another. Sometimes what we mean and what we post come out differently.
