I’m too out of it for news, so here is some Alexander O’Neal.
Man I’m tired. Decent enough weekend, though.
I seem to have torn/strained a ligament in my ankle, which is fun. I killed my favorite EVER dvd player, which is just par for the friggin course of late. So I setup the 360 to do it. And it works just fine. Optical out, component, all the good stuff.
Yet it feels…I dunno, cheap. Wrong.
I dunno why it feels that way. On the upside, I got behind the TV, discovered at least 3 different cables that were hooked up to the TV and nothing else. I’m amazed at how labeled cables, lovingly installed, managed to tangle up and apparently, multiply. But it was scary enough back there that you couldn’t pay me to attempt to clean up the cables behind my desk.
Saturday I picked up Ultimate Alliance. I know, everyone is getting Gears of War, and I will too, eventually. But when Sammy found out she could be her favorite, Storm, that pretty much decided the issue. It’s a decent game, and I must admit I love being able to play as Moon Knight of all people.
Sunday I attempted to preorder the Wii at a place, but too late. Still, I found out they will be selling the Wii at Midnight on Saturday, and that the local target will have something like 60 copies, compared to having THREE for the PS3, which is really funny. I got to play with the Wii on Saturday, and I know it’s just a sure thing for me – but getting one may or may not be difficult. At least they are actually producing, unlike Sony.
Which is ok, I don’t really want a PS3 anyway.
At any rate, gotta fly.
You go have a day.
