First off my car stereo got stolen =(...

My car is a 93 Accord.

I now notice that my clock does not receive any power when the car is not on. Do u think that the wires cut from the stereo is causing the problem? I also recently got a new stereo and am wondering if the free installation will cover the fact that the wires were cut so might need extra work to put the new one in. And if it is the wire problem whould putting the new stereo in fix the problem? I want the stereo to be retain memory when the car is not on so hopping this installing new one will fix everything.

I use to have the pioneer DEH-P6000 but now i got the Pioneer DEH-P5200... Should I have gone for something else like Alpine or Sony? I was looking for things under $200 since car is getting old.

    Thanks

yeah, the cut wires likely are killing your clock. Can't say about installation, but I'm sure they've seen worse. Might fix it, might not, depends how smart your installer is.

You'll need to figure out what powerlead is the one that always has power. A lot of the time, its the same one hooked into the cig lighter.
