    What's Your Favorite Computer Magazine?

Although I subscribe to PCMagazine, PCWorld, and Computer Shopper, the one I wait for each month is Maximum PC.

MaximumPC is good, but I like Wired best. Although that's not strictly a PC magazine.

For sheer useful information (reviews and "how tos") and articles.... Maximum PC gets my vote!

Definitely Maximum PC. I've heard that the CD that comes with the magazine can have some pretty good stuff on them as well, but I don't get the CDs with my $3 per year subscription.

Honestly, I stopped getting computer magazines a few years ago -- they're just too outdated by the time they are published (I can get the same news/reviews/etc from the Internet a lot quicker).

......and this is coming from someone who still has about 8-10 boxes of old computer magazines dating back from 1985.

MaximumPC is by far my favorite computer magazine.

Wired is more of a technology magazine IMO.
    I think over again
    My small adventures, my fears.
The small ones that seemed so big,
For all the vital things I had to get and to reach.

And yet there is only one great thing, the only thing:

To live to see the great day that dawns,
And the light that fills the world.

I like the UK computer magazines I find at B & N and Books-a-Million that have CDs and DVDs full of software attached.

The only one I really read is pertinent to the type of job I do.

    Software Test & Performance Magazine.

Magazine are a pretty useless medium for information about computers. Any breaking information has already been posted on slashdot, digged to the top of the list or posted on a forum somewehre. Plus, they have no search feature
