    Wii remote battery life

Anybody else find that the battery life pretty much sucks for these things? I pop in new batteries less than every 15 hours or so. Is there anyway to disable the sound and the rumbling so that I waste less battery life?

When i was playing zelda, I would always roll to move faster. This however, causes link to always grunt. I swear that made the batteries drain twice as fast.

What are you guys doing? Using rechargeable batteries? I just bought a 40 pack of AA so i've just been popping those in.

I've been averaging about 20 hours per set of costco AAs.

Why didnt Nintendo come out with a charger at launch?
AA batteries are good for portable devices that you will take away from the home a lot (such as digital cameras for vacation), but I would prefer a built in LI-ON w/ charger for something like this...

Battery life sucks. However I don't really mind it that much because I always buy the mega pack of AA batteries that Home Depot sells. I think it's like 40 plus batteries for like $12.00

I started using the rechargables that I normally use for my digital camera.

    One word of caution though...

I've personally had problems with using rechargeables in some devices since the actual volts don't quite match up.

Most alkaline AA batteries are 1.5 volts, but the rechargeables come in at 1.2 volts. Therefore you are "under volting" your gadgets... which I've noticed seem to affect the life of the gadget.

I sure wish that they would come up with a rechargeable AA cell that actually puts out 1.5 volts (or does something like that already exist?)
