I dunno. Ever since I got the new TV, I've had the bug. The bug to rip stuff out and improve it.

The new TV made the room so much better that now I'm wanting to start up those home projects I sort of put off after the hell that was doing the basement ceiling. Which I only half did. I only half did it because there were centuries of dead mice up in the old ceiling, and it was a seriously gross adventure. So the Lounge is half new ceiling, half ceiling from 1950.

Some day I'll fix that.

Maybe. It was really gross.

Right now, I'm looking at the bathroom, and thinking, good god that cabinet sucks. So does the bathtub, which sometimes leaks into the basement, but that's outside my ability to do anything about, I think. I'd be too afraid I'd end up with a small bucket to take showers in.

But I could totally do the cabinet and sink.

I think.

Anyway, Home Depot calls to me. It doesn't happen often. I'm fairly half assed in my ability to actually do anything. I fixed a leak in the roof with just lots and lots of tar. Lots of tar. And I repaired the ceiling really really badly. It's ugly. But what I lack in skill, I more than make up in laziness. The repair I don't do looks the best.

Perhaps the bug will go away before I do any actual damage to the foundation.
