NYC: Get Together anyone?

My plans are firmed up (heh). I fly in April 18. I'll be there until the 26. I'm staying at the Ameritiana Hotel (link in previous thread) which is in Manhattan, lower. I'm going to see Spamalot the day before I leave, so that is the only night I'm not available.
I look forward to meeting as many of you as I can while I'm there, so don't be shy, let's make this happen.
How far away is Hartford, CT? I'll be there for my auto racing school thing. Seemed like NYC was ~2ish hours away if I recall?
Might be possible, but I'm sure NYC traffic would eat me up.

I hate to sound "hard to get" but we'll have to see. It's smack in the middle finals period. As a frame of reference, it's one month from finals and I just got back home from school for the first time in like three days.
I really wanna see all you guys though. Can't wait.

No can do. Although the thought of driving 4 1/2 hours to go to a traffic laden city is very tempting.
I think I'm game. Corcodile Lounge by Union Square. You get a free pizza every drink you order during happy hour. But the thng is I suck at making small talk with people I don't know. It'll get downright awkward.

well, the only day/night i PROBABLY can make a trip to NYC is sunday, since friday, i have to watch Norah play the tower theatre in Philly, and saturday, i have to watch her play the Borgata in A.C.
so im stalking her. shut up about it.
and sunday, Jarvis Cocker is playing Webster Hall in NYC at 8pm, that would be another good reason to go to NYC.
if im not dead yet (or in prison for stalking) sunday, i can be in NYC early afternoon and hang til the show starts. maybe Jarvis will play some Pulp...
