Now that is Billy Idol in his prime. That's some rock n roll right there.
Now, not so much. I mean, he can still do ok in concert, but...I made the mistake of catching some of his Christmas album and that's just all kinds of wrong I can't even begin to talk about it. And his last real album had one decent song on it. And he is kind of turning into a creepy old man. But in his prime, man, I was all about the Idol.
Anyway.
I had a decent weekend. Saturday I trekked once again to the Compusa clearance. There ain't much left of note, but I did pick up Enchanted Arms for the 360 for 23 bucks. For 23 bucks, it's an ok game. Would have really sucked at 60. Watched some TV. Did a Target run. Froze because it's friggin cold. Jammed a little to GHII, finishing off the Easy Levels and moving on to medium. Doubt I'll master Hard, didn't the last time, but if I can hack medium, I'll be happy.
Broke 3,000 in Achievement points. I realize Achievements mean absolutely nothing, but I still seem to always want more of the damn things.
Sunday Sammy wanted to hit the World Market, where she got some trinkets and chocolate. Shopping on Easter is awesome, if you can find a place open, because you have the whole store to yourself. It was almost like the scene in Omega Man when Chuck Heston was wandering through the mall while the infected hovered outside. Except we had chocolate, and no vampires.
Then we went to the in laws, had some delicious ham, watch Stella go into bionic 3 year old mode, and went home. Now it's all about killing time till the Sopranos starts, and this time, I get to watch it in HD. So there had best be some guys getting whacked.
A little nudity wouldn't be out of line either.
You go have a day.
