A pair celebrates the start of their vacation at Windansea Beach. This is my favorite beach for photography with the palm frond hut and the combination of sandy beach with eroded rocks. Surfers like it here too- the waves are often some of the best in San Diego. It is just barely south of La Jolla and many people never see it. There is very limited parking so if you visit, plan on finding your spot on the side streets somewhere. On a busy day, either walk or ride your bike. You won't be able to park.
