    Good PS2 Games

I've decided to dust off my trusty PS2 and try out some newer games, but am unsure what some good titles are now.

I know there's guitar hero, but what are some other good games? (I like RPG's, action titles, and rhythm games

I would say FFXII out of the RPGs Gear mentioned... also if you havent played God of War 1, it is an awsome pick up for <$20.
If you can find Odin Sphere, I guarantee you can sell it for more in a few years than it will cost you from the store today...

Hmm.....is this one of those games that was released in limited supply? (only way I can see it selling for more).

I actually have borrowed Final Fantasy XII from a friend of mine but haven't fired it up yet. As for God of War II, I'll have to check that one out (remember playing the first game).

Rachet and Clank series is a LOT of fun. Each one is better than the previous.

They're usually released in limited supply of the US versions, but the Shin Megami Tensei series games are pretty good if you like RPGs. I have Shin Megami Tensei: Nocturne, and it's really freakin good (imo, anyway). There's a new one coming out this July called Shin Megami Tensei: Persona 3.

Oh, another game my friend let me borrow that I've been enjoying quite a bit is Disgaea. It's out of print in the US, but Disgaea 2 is coming out here soon, I think. It's a strategy RPG, sorta like Final Fantasy Tactics (if you're familiar with that game), and I found it to be highly addictive.

Disgaea 2 came out a while ago, although you may still be able to find it in stores (like Gamestop).

Final Fantasy Tactics imo is the best game in the genre, ever.

    super puzzle fighter 2
OOP, hard to find, awsome game.
FYI they are releasing an HD version for PS3 and XB360.
