Too bad those "participating hotels" usually charge an arm and leg for a 7-night stay. Nevertheless, if you plan on staying in a nice big hotel while you're there anyways, then it's a pretty decent deal. We usually just crash in on hostells (sp?) for $10 a night.

And the 7 night stay has to be at their participating hotels. We're talking minimun nights stay of $150+.

a cash back deal for brokerage signup is likely better...but then, international air tickets are quite expensive....its better than nothing if you planned on signing up for Ameritrade anyways!
