    Costco

So is anyone else incapable of leaving Costco without spending $100+ every time??

I always manage to find something that I just really need.

HERE. I spend way too much there. I sometimes get scared going there. But I really love the place. Its got a lot of good quality stuff. I'm just glad i don't own a truck.

    yep

That's why we dropped our membership for a couple years- I couldn't do it anymore. I had bills, groceries and costco money...

Then in the spring, we needed tires for the truck... yep back into costco we go! At least Donnie isn't here till Feb

same with walmart, you go in there for one thing you come out wth $200 plus in your cart, you get home and wonder what the hell i went to walmart for, then you remember what for, and its the thing you dint get, so your stuck having to go back again.

    I love/hate Costco.

True story, a friend's 3yr old son...the first word he learned how to read/write was "costco."

I've gone there just for a chicken caesar salad before, but it's on my way home.

I have a business membership and even without paying the sales taxes I manage to do $500 a month so I've steered away for the last 2 years.

I don't bring a cart unless I know I'm going to need one. I bring those bags you buy and reuse.

I only get what I came in for. I can easily go in for just beef and leave with just beef. I ony buy what is on my list. Ocasnally I will buy something extra but it is usually something under $15 that I have an immediate idea on how to use.

I really don't have that problem anywhere. The only times I absolutely NEED something, it's something I know about ahead of time and go looking for. Like if I have a particular song stuck in my head and I HAVE to go get the CD, etc. Once I'm in a store I almost never buy stuff impulsively. Except for groceries, maybe... like "ooooh, that would be good for dinner tonight", and it's never more than, say, $20 for a steak and some crab legs.

I seem to have no willpower in this area of my life... Especially when I walk by the baked goods section and smell that sweet smell. Gotta have those chocolate chocolate-chip muffins.

I bought a take-n-bake pizza there last night (only item) and spent 8.75. It was horrible = like cardboard only worse. Could have gone to Papa Murphy's a half mile further and had them make me one fresh for 6.99 and i know it would have been good but this one was "bigger" so I thought I was saving money. In reality? I was throwing away what I usually eat the next day (it was that bad).
Otherwise, I like Costco just fine - you just have to discipline yourself.

Ah, that's one thing I've never tried from them. The pizza at their little snack bar is pretty good, if not a little bit greasy. Thanks for the heads up though on the ready-bake stuff..I'll keep away.

I like Sams Club-because we don't have Costco here....and 99 cents for bananas? That's WICKED expensive!..omg go to an Aldi Store and buy them for 25 cents a lb.
I can honestly say I can go into Sams and walk out without buying anything..same with Wallyworld.

    I love Costco - it's my favorite B&M store.

I hear ya about the pizza, tho - the buy & bake ones are OK, but IMHO too big for a normal oven. They get too close to the sides & burn. If you have an oversized oven they'd probably be OK, or cook them 1/2 at a time. Or just let them cook it - much better that way.

I don't even know what a Costco looks like. There are none in this area.

it is rear if I spend that much at Costco at all. I mean yeah I purchase a Wii or DS game or DVD set from time to time, but I normally get funny looks as I tend to just have 1-3 items in hand.
