Ok, strange idea from me. Is there any device that does this?

Basically, what I'm thinking is a box that you would set within view of whatever device you want to control. Then, you install some software on your computer. Basically, your computer would communicate with the box via bluetooth, and then the box would send an IR signal. Sometimes I set out on the deck and listen to my stereo, that's inside. I'd love to just have to have my laptop take care of everything instead of having to bring out my remote too.

Probably doesn't exist, but it'd be cool if it did.
