However the distributor I got them from was VERY slow in delivery... took them about a month to deliver. G|A posted a deal on them about 3 months ago.

I have a Dragonfly, and while it's hard to fly, it's loads of fun. I got mine from a mall kiosk, but I believe ThinkGeek sells them too.

The Dragonfly is alot bigger than the one you posted. It's about 9 to 12 inches long.

I dunno. From that link, it looks like DF got a great deal. But it's only a 2 channel radio - controls main prop and tail prop speeds. The video shows it just going up and down and spinning. Can you actually fly it anywhere, like down the street or back to you or whatever? There's no gimbal, of course, and no good way I can see to tilt forward.

The short answer is.... kinda. The dragonfly nose is supposed to drop down a little and to give it forward thrust. It doesn't work too well and takes a lot of effort to get going. You can add weights to the front of it to get more forward thrust, but then it doesn't hover well. There are mods people do to them to make them fly better. Search different hobby forums for info. Also there should be a newer better breed of mini rc copters. So research before buying because these are good for several hours of entertainment, but are not great imo.

heh... I was wondering about that.

I guess one day I'll have to bust one of them out of the box and try them out.
