    i'm running win2k pro on a duron 600@850. when i try to bump it up to 900mhz it will say" ntdlr is missing" or "a disk read error occurred ".please help.

    That file is kinda important. Let's narrow this down.

    600Mhz = 100Mhz FSB
    850Mhz = 141Mhz FSB
    900Mhz = 150Mhz FSB

    My guess is that your hard drive doesn't like running out of spec. Either that or your CPU is overheating.

    i don't think it is a heat problem because it is running about about 100 degrees with no load @850 with load about 108. my harddrive is an ibm 75gxp 30gig 7200rpm. thanks for your help.
    can u name all the 5 of the 3 stooges?
