anyone RMA to WOOT OFF ?

i bought a Typhoon 2.2GB MP3/WMA Jukebox
in july .well its a peice of crap .and i emailed the manufacture only to get this reply today .

Because of the bankruptcy of Anubis Electronic in April 2007 we do not support any international service requests any longer.

Please contact your distributor or the store that you've bought the Typhoon product.

They will give you more information on how to acquire the warranty rights that you might have.

so the 1year warrienty is not worth diddly

I did one RMA to Woot (a refurbished Netgear wireless router that seemed to become intermittent after a couple of months - probably a heat issue). In this case - a refurb (rox0rz!) - it stated that the warranty was 90 days from Woot, so I didn't have any problem with them accepting it back. In the case of your purchase, they only stated "Warranty: 90 days", so I'm not as certain that they will accept responsibility, but it's worth a try - send an email to [email protected] and see what happens.

i just checked my email today no reply . but i know from the posts on there site list night there have been a ton of problems with this item .
also im down in clearwater again for 6 days so we see when i get home .
