For the past little while I've been trying to get a helpdesk-style position (my current job has been a simple data entry position). Yesterday, I was finally successful in this.
I'll now be supporting Point Of Sale software for a major gas station retailer, and getting a nice salary to boot. Finally, I've found something that I can start to carve out a career in, and I'm just thrilled about that. O
ne of the major assets to me getting the job was that I'm already familiar with the PoS software because the gas station I worked at for four years also used the same application (giving proof that most things happen for a reason).
Combine this with the fact I'm moving out in a few months, and I can easily say this is turning out to be a good year.Can't wait to start.......
