this is how it goes... You have 90 days to deposit $100 into the account from the day you open it.. Once you do that.. they will credit you with $100 within 3 business days..

i called the lady, and she told me that if you do not get the credit, just call them and tell them that you did not recieve your E-MONEY-MAIL $100 bonus...

I opened an account on dec 6. THe account got funded on the 15th with a check I sent for $100.. on the 16th I had a balance of $200... I blew $100 on misc stuff...

then... last night I opened an account for my dad, mom, and both my sisters... My mom & dad had good credit, so they got approved instantaneously...
I then transfered the remaining $100 from my account to my dads account. Once that gets funded (should be posted on TUES)... I will have the extra $100 bonus almost immediatly..

then I am going to transfer the extra $100 from my dads account to my mom's account.. and wait for that extra $100..
the remaining balance in my dads account will be sent back to my account, and I am going to close my dads account.

they KEY here is to do this BEFORE january 23. On jan 23 they charge you $10 for having a balance UNDER $1000 for ALL of the accounts you have...

Watch out for the "GOTCHA" clause!

"A $7.50 minimum balance fee will be assessed if your monthly average ledger balance for the statement cycle falls below $1,000. If the account balance is less than $7.50, the fee will be assessed against any remaining balance, but will not cause the account to enter into overdrawn status.

The minimum balance fee of $7.50 per month may be waived for senior citizen customers whose eligibility is defined by the law of the state in which they reside. You're also going to have to pay tax on all of those $100 interest credits. Or rather, your dad, mom, sister, etc. will...

you don't pay tax unless that person makes over $7000 a year...

and it isn't even that important....

plus they changed it..

you now pay $10 for having less than $1000 in the account..

but this doesn't take into effect until jan 23
