Presale codes come from a variety of sources. There is not one specific place to get them. They are usually given via email if you belong to a paticular group, newletter or organization. This is the place to share them.

FYI...the House of Blues website has tickets listed from 30-68.50....ticketmaster has them from 45-68.50

Probably a typo on one of the sites.

This "region-specific" forum is not specific to your region..
All these threads are for the San Diego area. That's a bit of a drive for you.

Chewed out??!? you are kidding right?? No one chewed you out for posting about that free screening to Kung Fu Hustle.

So we could easily say you San Fran's are quite defensive

You have to admit glockness that first reply in the SF - KungFu Hustle free screening was rather thread crappish.

Its true San Diego threads dominate this regional sub-forum and by default threads here are going to be assumed for those based there. That does not mean threads for other regions are not to be posted here-this subforum was made for regional threads from any part of the country, not just San Diego. So, for example, I could post a DC area thread and it would be fine.

    cheers,

    sbp

Well my bad then.. I thought these threads were all for Southern California. I hadn't noticed anything outside that area being posted. I thought that was the whole point of being region specific.. things that were specific to where you live.

aside from that.. I don't know what "thread crappish" means, but I don't see anything wrong with the first reply, the second, or any of the others... No one was hostile or "chewing" anyone out.

    Question PreSale Tickets...

Aren't you all getting a little off topic of Presale tickets?

That is indeed the point of this subforum, but please note folks live in different regions.

Non-Southern California region threads are rare occurances, but there have been a few. In addition to the above mentioned SF thread, there was the NYC thread posted a few days ago. There has also been the Las Vegas Deals and Bargains, Columbus, OH 'Rock Rewards Program', Chicago Area (Downers Grove) Fry's Ads Online and the Indiana University students threads.
aside from that.. I don't know what "thread crappish" means, but I don't see anything wrong with the first reply, the second, or any of the others... No one was hostile or "chewing" anyone out.
A thread crap is like a kneejerkish comment that is not conductive to furthering a discussion.

Please take a look at your first reply in that thread-doesn't seem exactly hospitable. Think about how you would like it if such a reply with attitude had been posted in your thread. Would you appreciate that amigo? Nope. Anyways, lets move forward.

If I made that post under the impression that this "region specific" forum was for the area I lived in.. what harm was done? I actually had thought that zip codes came into play with what forums we could see. I understand now that this "region" extends to New York now, thank you.. I admited my mistake in not understanding that.

Regardless.. no one chewed anyone out.. people mis-interpret posts all the time, as has been done here.

Next time I'll include flowers with my post.

    Unhappy Down Boys! lol

Hmmmm? When I started this thread I did so because I was looking for a presale code for a Los Angeles concert although I live here. I looked throughout several forums before I found it. I personally feel that it is helpful and not uncommon for locals to travel throughout Southern California for events.

If it's alright with the Adminstrator I say... POST IT! I do however suggest that you post the location and event in the "title area".

Just my 2 cents for what it's worth.

Thank you all for keeping this board going... now play nice!
