Along with the GiftzClub website going live on Monday, we will also begin shipping out GiftzBoxes. As soon as you receive your GiftzBox, follow the included instructions for set-up and you’ll be good to go in no time! If you have any trouble with the set-up, we have a handy-dandy FAQ section as well as a helpful Support team just a phone call or email away.

ADVERTISER OFFERS
To make everything even sweeter, advertiser offers will be already available – all you have to do is set up your GiftzBox, sit back, and start watching Fox 6! Look for commercials from the following advertisers starting next week: Panda Express, Motoworld of El Cajon, and Your Floral Affair.

In addition, we will be running three different Fox 6 GiftzClub promo’s, and each will have different offers tied into them. HOW IT WORKS
As you watch Fox 6, commercials by participating advertisers as well as Fox 6 GiftzClub commercials will make your GiftzBox flash a green light to inform you that you are watching a participating commercial. At the end of the commercial and after your GiftzBox light goes from amber to solid green, you can remove the USB GiftzStick from the GiftzBox and plug it into your computer. This will upload your captured commercials to GiftzClub, and you will be able to see all the offers and coupons you’ve received!

To help you better understand how the GiftzBox lights work, we have two quick tutorials located on the GiftzBox Info page once you’ve logged in. As always, our helpful Support team members are more than happy to assist you with any questions you might have.

I have captured all 10 "deals" that have been broadcast. You can see a list of them at the GiftzClub website. My last capture said I was "Over the limit" so I deleted half of them. The box works well, as advertised, after I connected an audio cable between the box and the left audio output of my audio amp.

You're welcome. I found the fix on the GiftzClub Support page. Lots of good info there and they even sent me the cable. The signal must be in the LEFT audio channel because they said to connect it there.

Has anyone actually won the daily sweepstakes? This program definitely sucks. But I'm hoping it will get better before I shut it down.

You'll only get the codes if you are watching Fox6. Use an old VCR and set it to Fox6 and hard wire the box to the audio out. You should start to get codes then. I haven't seen anything good for codes so you're not missing much.

i was gonna write the same thing. ive had the box for over a week and nothing! i'll defiantly do what you mentioned. dumb question but can i also set it for 13 also, go back and forth from fox or channel 13? or does it matter. sorry new to all this.

I have mine connected to an old VCR.
You also have to make sure the bottom green light is on. That is done by pressing buttons on any remote control. So I don't have to keep doing that, I also have the audio hooked up to a infrared headphone transmitter pointed at the box.
I get the big green light on several times a day but only upload it once a day to enter for the $50 drawing. I already have every offer possible so multiple uploads would do nothing.

I also found out it will "capture" commercials without having the USB connected.

I'm bored with it though. After the daily $50 giveaway is over, unless something better is offered, I'm done with it. For the TV drawing you only had to activate it

You're right about that green light at the bottom. If it's not on you won't get anything. I just hit the Vol up once in awhile and that brings it back on. When the big green light on the top is lit that means you have captured something.

My wife and I like to go to Valley View once in awhile. That $25 coupon for the Black & Blue looks good but we stopped in and checked the prices and that doesn't even pay for one of the meals. I don't think we'll use that one. The free buffet is just for new members. You don't really need the coupon. Just go out there and sign up and they give you a free buffet. Their buffets are good but I wouldn't want to pay the price they want for them.

It is boring doing this. I think I just might hang in a little longer than you. You never know. I'm into Wheel of Fortune and that one looks like you will never get anything good from it also but I did win a portable DVD player from them. You're competing with people from all over the country for that one. At least Fox 6 is local.

When the install ended (not sure it did end), nothing happened. Was I supposed to get a message on screen?

The install instructions left me with the USB device still plugged into my computer. Am I supposed to move it back to the Giftbox?

I'm not sure about the message on the screen. It's been awhile since I installed. I do know that you need to move the USB device back to the box. It should turn Orange for awhile and then the light will go out until you capture an ad. The bottom little Green light should be on or you will not get any ads.

Oh, BTW, I did get a message that I won $50.

In past GiftzClub trials, we have also had the participation of national advertisers and both the viewers and the advertisers reaped the benefits.
