No mo Bo? A true musical innovator. I wish I had been able to see him live once. I did catch James Brown. BB King is still out there, but his tickets are usually pretty expensive.

Dear Lucille... the thrill is gone.

R.I.P. Bo... may you keep on entertaining them in the afterlife.

Was that Bo in George Thorogood's Bad to the Bone video? He will be missed. The bo beat rings on in Austin through many many musicians. Bow bow bow ba ba bow.
Wait a second... you're telling me Sixpac Shakur is a CHICK?

yeah, bo did the original version of "bad to the bone" (was "i'm a man" when bo did it). he also piloted the "bo diddley beat," as heard in "who do you love?" the bo diddley beat was copied by many to this date. the way i see it, he was a huge contributor to music today.

BB King's guitar is called Lucille and had the song "The Thrill is Gone".

George Thorogood played a lot of Bo Diddley music. Asked why he did not play any original music he replied "all the great songs have been written and I can't do any better."

Bo Diddly liked to work his name into his songs. He played a pawn broker in the Blues Brothers movie (original). He had a rectangular guitar that he played like it was a drum- more rhythm than chords.

    Yup...

Hopefully Lucille will end up in a museum somewhere... possibly in Cleveland (Rock and Roll Hall of Fame).
