Visited the Birch Aquaruim in La Jolla. It is a small aquarium but it is not too crowded and only $11 for adults. Shooting pictures in an aquarium is difficult. You have the glass tanks which can cause distortion and reflections. Most are dimly lit and the fishes are constantly moving. I went up to try some experiments with using my flash of camera. I have an external flash and bought a cable that allows me to use it off the camera to light it from a different direction. A tip if you do not have one of these- shoot at an angle to the glass so that your flash does not bounce directly back at you. In this one I also desaturated some of the background color to help him show up better.
Holy Mackerel! A slow shutter speed made them blur. More of an abstract.
