This is still one of THE hottest cards to apply for folks. If you don't have one, or if you've got all of the other AMEX cards, this is good one to add to your wallet.   • Update: Don't forget the other "Blue" cards from American Express. The Blue (no cash, just Blue) card gives you 0% APR for up to 15 months on your purchases which is great if you need to make one big purchase and want to pay it off over the course of a year-ish. There's no annual fee, and it comes with the same 4.99% fixed APR. And the Blue Sky gives you 0% introductory APR and a point for every dollar you spend that goes towards any airline, hotel, car rental or MORE with NO black out dates or travel restrictions (you've seen the commerical I'm sure). Both of these cards come with the same top of the line service that you get from all American Express cards.
