Excellent condition - barely used. All original equipment included.

This is the sub-notebook sized CE device by IBM - it's a perfect device for taking notes in class, e-mail, web browsing, faxing documents, presentations, etc. It's only about 2.5lbs, so fits nicely in briefcase or backpack. Comes with pocket versions of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, IE, and Outlook).

Comes with internal 33.6 modem, 16MB RAM, 20MB ROM, two card slots (one full sized PCMCIA, one CompactFlash), full size 640x480 VGA screen, power adapter, all cables. See http://www-1.ibm.com/servlet/support...256758003F3032 for details.

Currently retails at about $500 - will sell for $190 OBO. Paypal preferred, but will consider others.

    Exclamation IBM workpad z50

Just curious, is this item new? if not, how old is it and how much use has it gone through? Excellent condition? any blemishes or scratches, especially on the screen? Battery included? power cable included? ...what else is included. if everything sounds good, i'll be interested. E-mail me at [email protected] thanks

Not new - about 4-6 months old. My mother actually bought it, and then got a new laptop shortly thereafter. So she took it out of the box a couple of times to play with it, but it's never actually seen any serious use.

Standard battery is included, power cable is included, no scratches or blemishes. Screen is perfect.

Just for the record, I had one of these... and was extremely pleased with it.

You can use a network card in them... so even if you don't need a powerful PDA, they'd make a great little email station.

It's an ultralight laptop (under 3lbs) that runs Windows CE. It's got Pocket versions of Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Access, and Outlook. It's excellent for taking notes, checking e-mail, traveling, etc. It also will sync with your desktop like a Palm.

It's got a full 640x480 vga display & one of those little red eraser-looking pointers for the mouse. See the link in my original post for more details.

I'm still open to offers, but I'm going to eBay it pretty soon if no one's interested.
