Comic(ish) wine

Woot had some interesting bottles of Zinfandel for you red lovers out there.

I love the wine and the bottles were pretty interesting/nerdy to boot.

A couple other good names:
Cardinal Zin (top notch zinfandel from -yes, Cardinal winery)
I think there is a 7 Deadly Zins too.
Pinot Evil (drawing of three wise monkeys on the label- should have added a fourth grabbing his crotch)
Marilyn Merlot- different Monroe picture each year- dispite the gimmac and high price, supposed to be pretty good.
Melange a Trois- very fruity and easy drinking blend (Vons had it on sale for $6.99 this week).

I've had it, and I considered it aptly named: it was evil stuff.

I've tasted Cardinal Zin and 7 Deadly Zins (as well as Melange a Trois - might even have a bottle of it in the basement), and thought they were quite nice.

I've also had 7 Deadly Zins - very tasty, and I think it has a higher alcohol content than normal (14%, IIRC)

Also had the Melange a Trois at a party recently - not too bad. It's cheap & makes for a good conversation starter!

I bought 2 3-packs of this. One to keep for a while, and one to break out for company.
