Heh. I'd probably trip if my mother gave me a friend request, I'd wonder how she learned how to use a computer, I barely know.

I feel I can get her on a technicality. Mom, I can't approve your friend request because you're family. When facebook invents a family request, you'll be the first I approve, I promise!
