not so suckage: family

I know my family family was hoping that this year was going to be better than the last year- last year sucked pretty hardcore.

Our hopes for a good year were dashed pretty quickly- not even a week into the year. My mothers cousin had a heart attack last saturday. He was more like an uncle to us than a cousin, and he was a great guy.

I'm constantly amazed whenever anything bad happens how my family pulls together for support and to just be there for one and other. And how we can handle the pain by just being with each other.

Hopefully this year will hit an upswing.
