You could pick up Lindsay Lohan for less than a intel 990x, and still have money left over to bail her outta jail
Well, as I recall it was eighteen years and probably seven months. Or did you mean since the last time? This will be our third election in CA this year.
OK- I know that was not what you were really asking. I will have to wait until at least tomorrow but since Rolling Stones tickets are not involvedI don't intend to camp out overnight. I'll just swing by sometime in the daytime. I have the whole day off (but not because of the election).

I sent my absentee ballot in, so it's already done. No wait!

My vote took me 2 hours to cast this past Thursday in the pre-voting opportunity.

I think the longest I've ever taken was 10 minutes.
I also vote at 9 a.m.![]()
It was about the same for me at early voting on Saturday morning. Hopefully no one here will be voting in Ohio. I've heard it could easily take 6 or 7 hours to vote there depending on your precinct and the time of day that you vote.Originally Posted by DarkFury

I got to the polling place about 10 minutes before they opened this morning. Took an hour to wait in line & finish.
5 minutes at 9:15 AM
I got there 30 minutes before it opened and already the parking lot was full and about 150 people ahead of me at least. Polling place opened at 7AM and I was out by 8am. So about 1.5 hours. The line snaked inside the parking lot, out on to the sidewalk and then some. I must commend the old disabled lady who got hit/bumped by a freaking car at my polling place. We let her cut in line and made sure she was ok.

sign in and went to a polling booth that quick took maybe 5 mins . there was no line at all really but all the booths were full !

no wait... took about 5 minutes.
i was worried about the long wait, so i brought a few things to make the time go by quicker, when i got there at 9:30am, there was no line, so went in and did the deed and left
$0.42 no wait with a absentee![]()
Showed up at 7am and I was about 30th in line. It took about 40 minutes.
I always show up when the polls open at 7am (so I can get my son to school on time) and I've never been there with more than four or five people.

No wait, showed my ID. Voted all Republican.
took about 5 min. time.
Only two people in front of me at 11:30.
In the "only in California" category- while I was there a couple comes in walking two small dogs. One has their mail-in ballot in his mouth which he takes over to the poll worker who puts it into the box. The people made sure both of their dogs got "I Voted" stickers. I hope the dogs were not the ones who actually voted (unless they are smarter than the people!).

Took me about 90 seconds to walk to the mailbox.
I really don't know why everybody doesn't do vote by mail. All the lines of people waiting to vote would be gone.

2:30pm, no line, no wait. In and out in 5 minutes.
And Thesifer: the paper ballots here have a separate column for write-in candidates.

About 20 mins for me this morning. That is actually about 15 mins longer then I have had to wait here before. I live in a small rural town..I don't think more then a few thousand people normally vote at my location, so I was a little surprised by the turnout.
So I got to my polling place and there was a line. Whatever, I don't have anything to do. I stand in line for about 7 minutes when a gentleman walks up, shows me a map and asks me if I live in the shaded area. I tell him yes, and he says I'm in the wrong line.Originally Posted by Nija
There are two polling places at one location. My polling place is around the corner of the building. Walked right in and voted because there was no line. The line I was in was about 50 people.

it's pretty clear his point was that if you had to vote in OK, you wouldn't be able to do a write in. Nothing more then that.Originally Posted by Napoleon54
