and the kids are helping their mom make sugar cookies.
Immediate family and some of the kids friends coming over.
Ritual gathering w/ my father's family, approx 25 supposedly scheduled for attendance at my grandmother's house on T-day. The usual turkey, mashed taters, stuffing, gravy, everything, etc. I especially look forward to one uncle's scalloped oysters (think oyster stuffing) and one aunt's "purple stuff" (jello salad) each year. I might make a couple pies to take.
