Do you think that they'll fire the whole team and then sell them to another city now?

Hey, don't give up on your team. Look at the Dolphins. A year after a 1-15 record, they get the AFC East title and in the playoffs.

My boys sucked today, but I'm not giving up on them. Never have, never will.

They also won the distinction of being the first team to start 0-15.. AND 0-16.. AND the only team to ever go 0-16.. They were a team of records this season! I bet there are more in there somewhere!

Wasn't Miami 0-15 last year before they won their last game in overtime?

Detroit and the Jets got rid of their coaches already. One other team did too (cant think of him at the moment).

Nah. Miami won their 15th game. The team you're thinking of is the Browns. They canned the Crennel and the GM Phil Savage like cold tuna.

The sad thing is that the Lions aren't even the worst team in the NFL this year. They had a few stinkers but played some decent football down the stretch. Unfortunately they had a brutal schedule to end the season.

I'd say that the Browns and possibly the Rams, Chiefs and Bengals are all worse teams than the Lions.
It only ends once... Anything that happens before that is just progress.

Courage is not the absence of fear but rather the judgment that something else is more important than fear.

I would argue that the Bengals were much worse than the Lions.

They were in the super bowl for the '88 season. They lost to the 49ers 20-16.

Believe it or not, the Bengals were in the playoffs numerous times in the '70s and '80s, with two Superbowl appearances in 1981 and 1988. Both times they lost in the Superbowl to the 49ers.

They had a major drought in the 90's however until they were in the 2005 AFC wildcard game and lost to the Steelers.

Must be because I'm only 27.. Was born in 81.. a little young to follow them back then..

also after their "Horrible" 8-8 Season.. The Broncos fired their Head Coach Mike Shanahan..

Growing up in Colorado and being a Bronco fan, I was a bit shocked that they fired Shanahan. Granted he really hasn't done much with the team since Elway retired despite taking over control of more and more of the control of the team (maybe that was the problem) but he and owner Pat Bowlen were buddy- buddy and had even said that Mike had a job for life. Whomever does come in will certainl not have as much power as Shanahan has had. He even personally made most of their draft choices- with little success.

Shahahan is an offensive mind. Denver's strength for a long time was their defense but now they have one of the worst of those in the league. The offense is really not that bad- particularly if you consider they went through seven running backs this year due to injuries. He will get a job somewhere- there are already three other vacancies.

Now that I live in San Diego I can cheer on the Chargers!

I had a great time watching their games. The last one I watched they were 0-14 or something on 3rd down conversions. AND, I got to watch that game with my cousins (from Michigan).
