    Help me find headphones

I have an above average sized head and ears. I need it to be comfortable to wear for 8 hours a day without putting pressure on my ears.

I'm looking for something inconspicuous so it won't get stolen from my desk. Ideally, it would be cheap enough where I won't mind if it's stolen.

    Ah, my specialty

I really like Sennheiser when it comes to comfort and sound quality. I can't recall the model I had. I would recommend fabric over leather coverings when it comes to the cans themselves, because I think they tend to be more comfortable for extended period of use. Here's a couple I'd recommend. I don't know of any that I wouldn't mind having stolen, but these aren't ridiculous.

If you don't mind a mic on them, I'd recommend the Creative Fatal1ty headset. During my 2 months or so of unemployment, I would use them literally all day and much of the night and never have them hurt. They're getting harder to find. They retail for 100, but I got them for 30 from buy.com.

This is the lowest price I found for them using Froogle.

However, they aren't very inconspicuous. But they're pretty ugly!

I'm liking the last set. Question: how can one adjust the ear to ear distance? From the picture, I'm concerned with it crushing my head.

Haha! Usually, when you adjust the height of the headphones, it also adjusts the width. At any rate, with the height set higher, there should be less pressure on your ears. I've owned 3 pairs of Creative headphones. They've all been fairly comfy.

Edit: Those headphones also have swivel cups, so pressure shouldn't be a big issue.

Actually, it doesn't look like you can adjust the height.

I found these on amazon after reading reviews. I also found a cheap set of headphones at home I'm going to try first.

i'm pretty sure with the creative ones, the inner headband is a stretchy thing that'll automatically adjust to the size of your head.

I actually used the same ones in that link. they have very good sound. I would definitely pay 15 for those again. They were, however, on the tighter side as headphones go. I don't know if I'd wear them for 8 hours. The padding is thin, but sound is awesome.
