Are there any coupon codes for the Lenovo SL series?

Don't get an SL. I've been purchasing & using Thinkpads for many years & I have a little insight into their models. Here's the breakdown:

SL is the low cost entry level "thinkpad". Hardly qualifies as a thinkpad. Missing most of the important protection & durability items that the others have in order to save cost. If you're looking for a low cost machine, get a Dell Inspiron.

R series is one step up - adds in some nice managability features for large businesses, but the hardware build is still sub-par.

W series is the portable worstation - good for design & CAD. Excellent build, but specific to design work so $$$$$.

X series is the ultraportable - nice but also $$$$$. I'd recommend the X3xx, not so much the X2xx. Both are pretty expensive. I currently use the X301.

T series is the way to go. Costs more but well worth it. If you need a machine for business use, the Thinkpad T series or the Dell Latitude are always the 2 I'd recommend. I've had a T42p and a T61p, and have always had good luck with them. Current line is the T400 or T500 (14 or 15" screen).

Since the T61 line is now being replaced with the T400 and T500, you may be able to find some great closeout deals on the T61.
