Question Sanyo 4.3" GPS System on the "Deals" front page.

The Sanyo Easy Street NVM-4370 Portable GPS packs a ton of features for the price. But is it any good? I've seen a lot of mixed comsumer reviews, but cannot find a proessional review. Link to Sanyo's manfucture info.

This GPS includes a lot of features not normally included in a $100 GPS:
    - Large 4.3" Touch-Screen LCD
    - Maps covering the US, including Alaska and Hawaii, Canada and Puerto Rico.
    - Text-to-speech technology announces approaching street names and the number of feet or yards until your turn.
    - Video & Music Player.
    - FM transmitter.
    - SD card expandable.
    - Bluetooth & more.

I've been thinking of getting a portable GPS. Anyone have experience with this one or a link to a pro review?

in general, the reviews seem to be pretty good. it seems like many people were looking forward to it coming out last year (which is pretty much the norm for any new gadget) and people were expecting to do more than just navigate with it.

the complaints that i am reading (i.e. bluetooth, fm transmission?) are random items that i don'nt necessarily use. i use a dedicated bluetooth and i've got a dedicated ipod dock.

it is $100,... so ymmv? i've had pretty good luck with sanyo's that i've bought,... ranging from a rice cooker to another gps unit that had no turn by turn voice.
