    Need help pricing a car

Hello all... I am considering letting go of my 1995 Nissan Skyline GT-R R33. It was in the fast and the furious but not as the feature car so to speak. It's a right side driver configuration so you have to get used to using the stick with your left hand.

Anyone know what a good price would be? 42,000 miles and always garaged and in perfect condition overall.

Wow, cool car! Was it Motorex-legalized? That would be a large factor. A buddy of mine got one of the last Mrex legal R33s before they folded, and he had to take legal action to do so. So tough to value Skylines. I think the value peaked after F&F both because of movie buzz and because Mrex had a monopoly and they set the price. Back then a R33 would ballpark around $50-60k. Now no one can bring them in and there are so few in the country that trades hardly ever happen. Probably better to post this on skylinesdownuder.com. See if you can get ahold of Sean Morris; he posts under the screen name tyndago on several forums.

Thanks for the leads. I see one on Ebay priced at $160k for the R34. I was wondering if that was reasonable or not. Here's the link.

I don't think that's reasonable, but it's priced due to the mods more than anything else. Not a fair comparison anyway since it's not in the US and because there aren't any truly street-legal R34s in the US. The Mrex legalization and the BCN(?) tag they provided are key. Anything else is subject to impound by the federal government (regardless of being state-registered). At that point you either pay to ship the car out of the country or pay the government to destroy the car!

Cool. That should get you top dollar, whatever it may be today. Just realized I misspelled skylinesdownunder.com, but I'm sure you figured it out.
