Lightbulb Norton 360 v2.0 - 3 User License. Free AR with free shipping.

Improved over the first version and less of a resource hog. It’s not getting the stellar reviews that NIS 2009 is receiving. But the price is right (thru 3-19-09)!

    Norton 360 @ Fry’s

Humility from a Virus Protection Novice

To my chagrin I bought McAfee, even after the warnings of GotApex regulars. I admit: It would have been better taking that cash I spent on McAfee and flushing it right down the toilet rather than loading that box-o-crap on my laptop. Others have told me how slow it made their puters too.

Yes, yes, yes; I admit it--McAfee sucks, bad.

"Free" is a good price for Norton virus protection. Any thoughts compared to McAfee?

I bought 360 v. 2.0 and it royally screwed up the system. We are still unravelling the mayhem it wrought. I mistakenly thought I bought Norton AV only and only after the purchase was made did I realize that I bought the wrong one. I figured what the hell and we installed it. Nothing but problems with that desktop ever since. So 2 thumbs down from me.
Welcome my son, welcome to the machine...Where have you been? It's alright we know where you've been....

I once had McAfee trash a system (Windows 98 SE) and have never gone back to it. Now might be a good time to upgrade to the Free-after-rebate Norton Internet Security 2009 bundle at Fry's. Good through 3-26-2009.
