Thread: Totallyfreepaging.com loss of service

  1. #1
Bring this up here, because I heard about this service here. Has anyone been affected by the loss of service from totallyfreepaging.com.
There service has been cut off for about a month now on the east coast. They keep emailing me that they are looking for a new partner, etc. blah blah blah.
Has anyone tried to get a refund.
    What are you guys doing?

    Question I don't get it

If it's totally free then why would you need a refund?

    Unhappy

because you still had to buy the pager, which was not particularly cheap. I tried it for a while but the service was too variable slow (sometimes a 5 min delay)for me to use at the hospital (i am a med student) so i gave it to my wife.

    Check out their site...

They say they offer free alpha paging in the following states and then only highlight California:

It gets WORSE. If you look at their coverage map, you see only parts of California:

I think smoke signals would work better.
