A Detroit woman 33 years old , has never had a driver's license but has racked up scores of suspensions with a total 45 suspensions. she also has 21 warrants out for her arrest related to misdemeanor traffic violations.
A Secretary of State spokesman, Fred Woodham, said that though Beavers never applied for a driver's license, she was assigned a license number when she got her first driving ticket for driving without a license in 1999.

Woodham said assigning her a license number simply put her on record so that if she applied for a driver's license at some point in the future the SOS office would have a record of violations.

"If she ever applied for a license she would have to clear up all those (45) violations first," Woodham said.

Beavers' record includes violations for operating a motor vehicle under the influence of liquor, careless driving, failure to obey traffic signals, no proof of insurance, and violation of safety belt laws.

"It appears most of the contacts she had before was with police who don't have the facilities to lodge people on such misdemeanor charges as multiple license suspensions. That's how she was able to avoid being arrested until now."

there is more to this story but im like total blown away. by how she has been able to keep walk /driving away court and the cops till now. must of been a female cop who stop her this time

My 85 year old grandma has never had a driver's license. She lives in the middle of nowhere and I would bet she's never driven more than 5 miles away from her house.
