For all you shooters out there, this is a nice buy if you're traveling in the coming months! Great for places where they won't let you use your flash, you can use this monopod to stead yourself or flip out the legs for some quick tripod work! The ballheads are always nice as you can quickly swivel the camera around if you need to instead of fiddling with a 3 way pan handle, and this is made by Sunpak which I've found to be very hearty and sturdy. (I still have one of the first Sunpak tripods I've ever bought to use for fireworks!) The only catch is that this monopod and ballhead combo can hold a max of 9lbs so it sort of limits all you folks out there with the ginormous D3's and Eos 1Ds.
