    Annoyed Touch Pad

Ok... I'm not even sure if I'm naming it right.

The mouse replacement thingy under the keyboard, touch pad.

Well, I was filling out forms online, and i don't know what I did, it went back a page.....GRRRR

It seems to happen when I swipe the pad a certain way

Is there a way to disable this?

Go to Control Panel > Mouse, and see if there is a tab dealing with Synaptics (or ALPS) Touchpad. You'll probably find the settings for gesture control there that you can disable.

I often make a certain gesture to mine but it doesn't seem to recognize it.

After I did that a couple of times, I turned mine off in the machine BIOS.

    Good one!

What drives me up a wall is that I can disable the touchpad on my laptop, but that also disables the pointing stick (which I much prefer).
