Does anyone use or know about the citibank click citi card.
Its an online only mastercard, and the benefits include
    1% cash back
    will supposedly pricematch Internet purchases
other features similar to blue, satisfaction guarantee

    see url at

I have the ClickCiti AAdvantage card.
Instead of receiving 1% cash back, I get 1 mile per dollar spent each month. Some ghetto cards only give you 1 mile per dollar of which you carry on your balance but that isn't the case with this card.

While I originally thought that I would get double miles, it turns out that you only get double miles with certain sites (most of which I can't remember).

However, the potential to pricematch and the various internet related guarantees coupled with the fact that this is a seperate line of credit from my mainstay credit card (the Citibank AAdvantage card) make this second card worth keeping around. This means that any miles I accumulate on this card don't count off the 60K I can rack up on my Citibank AAdvantage card.

There is a $50 annual fee for this card (at least the AA version) but this is waived if you already have a Citibank AA credit card.

The bottom line is that I use this card for all my net purchases (apart from my fatshoe.com/ecounts/webcertificate transactions) due to the protections given.

PS. While they don't tell you expressly, this card will work with any mail-order/order-by-phone company. I regularily pay my cellphone bills on this card in order to easily seperate them out from my business-related transactions.

    Thumbs up

I've had this card for a while now, and I do get the 1% cash back. It's a great card but I haven't tried out the price matching yet, the only other card I know of that will is Blue...

Although its not called a click card, I have the same thing, called platinum plus or something strictly for internet purchases. As it happens, I just mailed my first price protection claim today. We'll see how that goes, but their terms and conditons seem pretty straighforward and reasonable. I got 2% back on purchases for 6 months, 1% thereafter, no problem. In my experience Citibank is the most competent credit card issuer around. They called me a couple of weeks ago because I used this card at Egghead and they warned me to check for bogus charges, and suggested I cancel and get a new card. If you are thinking about getting and using one, don't hesitate.
