    Your desk top computer speakers

what type and brand ore the speakers your using on your desk top computer?

for my main rig i have a 5.1 set of klipsch speakers.
these are a special not avail for the general public set.
its like 200 Watt and has a klipsch Dolby virtual speaker controller. this controller uses a klipsch remote control. the unit is the same as this http://www.klipsch.com/na-en/products/cs-700-overview/ minus the DVD/CD player, AM/FM tuner. but has the virtual speaker controller I spoke of before.
i do not have a link to controller unit.
also dont know what the list price would be for this system -im guessing around $600 msr if you could find this system.

my 2nd desktop unit uses a set of very cheap no name 2.1 speakers

    M-Audio Studiophile AV40.

I used to use Logitech Z-680s, but they've been moved up to the TV room.

i have logitech z560's that i've had since college. They're the "thx" 4.1 system... the bass on them is deafening and i'm pretty sick of them.

    they sound ok otherwise.

A logitec set with ipod dock that was on sale.

Not a huge fan as its picking up radio signals, which i might be able to solve by cutting the ground wire on the audio line from the PC

lol well i'm glad you like them porngar. I used to love them, and this is probably my fault, but i've had the hardest time reducing the bass on them. I probably should install the tools for my sound card

hey, has your rheostat gotten all corroded so when you adjust the volume on the knob it goes crazy scratchy and basically screams at you? i'll never buy a rheostat dial again... woof. Atleast not a crappy one.

Never had a single problem with them at all. Can't you just crank the bass down on the pod thing?

yeah it's all the way down... I just end up turning it down on the equalizer but i dislike having to do that for every program.
