I had a long weekend.
Saturday we had the typical running around, with the added bonus of picking up b-day gifts for Stella. Did manage to sneak in a nap and watched The Invention of Lying, which I liked. In order to get people used to Daylight Savings, I turned back the clocks at 7pm. It's amazing how much that actually helped.
Though, the other thing that helped on Sunday was the running around for the birthday party at Chuck E Cheese. OMG.
While it went off ok, we did have one late parent on the pick up side at the end. We also had a Chuck E Cheese that was clearly unhappy about being Chuck E Cheese. He or she appeared to be a little hung over or something, because they didn't want anything to do with the Children. Not that I didn't have sympathy for that - I was about done with them myself. Still, it was kind of sad. Not anything the kids noticed though.
Then we went home and pretty much went our separate ways. It was a beautiful day in the 60's, which for mid March in Minnesota is pretty impressive. But I just wanted to hide from anyone under 5 feet tall by the end of the day.
Yeesh, glad that is over with.
You go have a day.
