Well, I don't want to call it, but Crystal was far better then Lee last night on American Idol. Before last night, I really thought Lee had it tied up - he is less defined as an artist, so he is easier to mold; he was killing it when he went out there, etc.

But he folded last night. And I dunno who picked Beautiful Day for him, but it was a bad choice. That's one of those songs you have to nail or not even try.

I didn't want Crystal to win - because she IS fairly defined, and the Idol producers don't work as well with someone like that, so it tends to lead to a mediocre album. But I have to say, she certainly deserves to win.
