A non-profit corporation that puts on a benefit concert every year asked me to review a contract wtih an online ticket vendor. Suffice it to say, the contract that they provided is not worth the paper its printed on and in my opinion attempts to rip off the non-profit left and right. Unfortunately, there are not many options when it comes to ticketing agencies and the other one requires multi-year contracts for even more money.
Basically since the non-profit only puts on a single concert each year, I am trying to determine if we can just add an online shopping cart to the non-profits website. Has anyone had any experience with adding shopping carts to pre-existing websites? Has anyone used/purchased Go-Daddy's quick shopping cart. I would assume that I just need to have the non-profit add a page to their existing website, add a link or the script that go-daddy provides and viola they are up and running. Am I correct. ANy help/insight is GREATLY appreciated. If we are going to do this, I will need to implement it tonight.
Thanks.
