READ THE FAQ FIRST!!!

There needs some clarification on how this site works. My lovely wife read the FAQ and I don't think she quite got how it works until she was $50 in the hole with nothing to show for it. Even after I read it, it's a bit confusing.

Watch an item that has less than 30 seconds left. Then watch people bid on it. Each time a bid is placed the timer goes up by 10 seconds and someone pays a $1 for the chance to get the item at the displayed price plus 2 cents. For each new bid the price goes up 2 cents and someone is out $1. The purchase price is not what makes it expensive, it's the number of bids.

For every dollar the items costs, the site has made $50 from the people who bid on it. That means the bidders have lost $50 for the right to bid on it spread among the number of bidders. It's like a game of Ebay sniping/chicken. Don't count how much the item costs, instead count how many bids you're willing to make and that's how much money you're actually paying for it or throwing away!!

I just watched a purse start from 2 bucks. A few people bid multiple times and each bid is $1. The item is at $5 now. The site has made $250 spread among those bidders. I'm guessing each bidder is out $25 plus and may not get this purse.

The site also provides a bidding assistant bot that charges up like a Debit card. You prepay it with $100 bucks. This works great if a IRL person is not willing to shell out $100 bucks. But if you have 2 bots doing the bidding on behalf of IRL people. Then whoever has the highest amount will win out and the other one will have drained their debit card like bot from unsuccessful bids.
