    Lordy, Lordy... guess who's 40?

    Me... that is.


    Wow... 2 scores in the making of which I've spent almost a decade here on G|A.

    Wow, how the time flies... People sometimes comment about how 40 is "over the hill", but honestly I truly understand the statement of being "only as old as you feel". I've had folks ask me if I feel different today than I did yesterday, and honestly I can't say that anything has changed (other than my insurance rates and such...)

    Well anyways, I thought I'd just share my "milestone" with my G|A family. Carry on.. as you were.

    I actually met Warren G. one time about 12 years ago...

    He was at a local event and I got to speak to him as he was signing autographs and I mentioned to him... "Hey, you and I were born on the same exact day"...

    He was shocked to hear this... as I told him that I knew that because of his song "So Many Ways". In that song there is a lyric that goes:

    11, 10, 70... that was my intro, but now in '94, I'm rollin' a '64.

    It was just kinda cool that someone who became famous was born on the same exact day as me.

    DFJ crafted me a REALLY nice poster using Powerpoint. And he and his mom put all kinds of ballons and ribbons up around the house.

    I really didn't ask for anything special this year as I'm pretty "low key" about celebrating my birthday.
