School Book Fair Money
A co-worker was telling me a story about her daughter's school book fair. Apparently the principal called about the daughter getting books she didn't pay for. Essentially, a girl was given a $100 bill to buy books and she spent $50 on my co-workers daughter. There was some parental teaching moments about money, hiding purchases, lying, omitting the truth...etc.
In the end however, what parent gives their kid $100 to spend on a school book fair and thinks that's a good idea? It also came out that another kid also had a $100 but lost it and some other kid came with $300. These are elementary school kids btw. With those price you'd think they are buying used college textbooks.

My son is now 15yo, but I'd STILL not give him $100 in cash to spend at a book fair.
Or for just about any reason. No way. I'd never see $100 in product and cash.
