Read the fine print before you transfer. Balance transfers have a "transaction fee" of $10 or 5% (which ever is greater.)
So, if you're transferring a $5,000 balance (as an example) you're going to get a $250 charge added to your statement by Chase.
18 months of 0% interest is pretty decent if you're going to tear through the balance and pay it off.
Just be aware of the transaction fee as well as the interest charged if you do not pay off the balance during the 0% time period.
All cards have 3-5% Transfer Fees. I've not seen one that hasn't.
Yep - I was just pointing that out - many people may not realize the fees that go along with a transfer.
